Importantly, it leaves no residues to contaminate coral reefs or block the filters of your spa or swimming pool. What’s more, it will not sting your eyes and, unlike traditional sunscreens, with our product, a little goes a long way.

This is no empty claim! We have developed a 100% plant-oil-based sunscreen. While traditional emulsion-based products are painted onto the skin, our sunscreen is absorbed into the epidermal and dermal regions of the skin (for the non-medical – that’s the first two layers).

As a nod to its advantages that our plant oil-based SPF50 sunscreen will not brush, sweat, or wash off the skin (thereby making it a once-per-day application product for most people) we have created and sell it under the One24 brand-name. Furthermore, our sunscreen is broad spectrum, meaning it gives protection against both UVA and UVB sunrays.

Most people are wary about applying sunscreen in large quantities (in effect, ‘painting’ it onto their skin) as they believe it may contain harmful chemicals.

Unlike emulsion-based products, FutecNZ products neither contain nor rely upon preservatives, emulsifiers or surfactants (all suspected carcinogens). All of our formulations are 100% water free and are best described as an anhydrous vegetable oil gel.
